Episode 1: Rudo's Fall

Simple Happiness in Paradise

The Sphere is a perfect city floating among the clouds. There's no dirt here, no chaos—everything is so orderly it borders on cold. Rudo and his adoptive father Regto may be the lowest-ranking janitors, but they live a simple, contented life. Every morning, father and son push their cleaning cart through the white streets, with Regto teaching Rudo life lessons as they work.

"Just because something is thrown away doesn't mean it has no value, Rudo." The old man hands the boy a pair of brand-new gloves, his eyes glinting with a mysterious light. "These 3R gloves are my most precious treasure, and now they're yours. Remember—Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. This isn't just about handling trash; it's a way of life." Rudo takes the gloves, not knowing this gift will completely change his destiny.

Nightmare Descends

That night arrives without warning. When Rudo pushes open his front door, what greets him isn't his father's warm welcome—it's a cold corpse and a floor covered in blood. Regto lies in a pool of crimson, his eyes still open as if trying to tell him something. Rudo lets out a heart-wrenching scream, dropping to his knees beside his father, tears blurring his vision.

But before grief can even begin, enforcers burst through the door. "It's him! Those gloves are the evidence!" To his horror, Rudo discovers his 3R gloves lying beside Regto's body—even though he'd been wearing them all day. The trial comes swift and absurd, with no investigation, no chance to defend himself. The Sphere's law takes less than an hour to deliver its verdict: "Patricide. Exile to The Pit. Never to return."

Falling Into the Abyss

They push him over the edge. Wind tears at his clothes and skin as clouds streak past. During his fall, Rudo watches The Sphere shrink to a distant point of light—the home where he's lived for fifteen years has just discarded him like garbage. The descent feels like an eternity, until finally, he crashes into a mountain of rotting metal and abandoned machinery.

Pain crashes over him in a delayed wave. Rudo struggles out of the garbage heap and gets his first true look at The Pit—an unimaginably massive garbage dump where toxic smoke obscures the sky, and rusted steel and rotting refuse stretch in every direction. There's no sunlight here, only eternal twilight and nauseating stench. And worst of all, this place isn't just filled with trash.

Monsters from Hell

A shriek erupts from the darkness. A horrifying creature made of discarded metal and rotting organic matter lunges from the shadows—the residents of The Pit call them Trash Beasts. It has a twisted metal skeleton, with eerie red lights burning in its eye sockets, each step making the ground tremble. It locks onto this unwelcome intruder.

Running is the only option. Rudo sprints desperately through the mountains of garbage, the monster in relentless pursuit. His legs are injured from the fall, making every step feel like walking on knives, but survival instinct drives him forward. Just as he's cornered, the beast opening its jaws to strike, Rudo desperately grabs a piece of scrap metal nearby—and then, a miracle happens.

Dormant Power Awakens

The scrap metal in his hands begins to glow. Incredible energy surges from his 3R gloves, and the metal fragments around him seem to come alive, automatically gathering, combining, and transforming. In mere seconds, a crude but sharp weapon takes shape—his first Vital Instrument. Rudo doesn't understand what just happened, but his body reacts faster than his mind, swinging the makeshift weapon at the monster.

The Trash Beast lets out an agonized scream as black liquid sprays from its wound. It retreats in terror, ultimately fleeing into the darkness. Rudo collapses to the ground, gasping for breath, the weapon in his hands already crumbled back into ordinary scrap. He looks down at his gloves, countless questions flooding his mind: What is this power? Who am I, really?

An Oath Born from Despair

Exhausted, Rudo climbs to the top of a garbage mountain and gazes up at The Sphere from The Pit for the first time. The sky city hangs unreachably far above him, its lights glittering like another world entirely. In that moment, his tears dry up, replaced by burning rage.

"Dad... I will survive." He clenches his fists, nails digging into his palms. "I'll get stronger. I'll find the truth. I'll return up there—and make whoever killed you pay." In the distance, dark figures silently watch this defiant boy. They're members of the mysterious Cleaners, and the journey Rudo is about to embark on will be far more dangerous and magnificent than he can imagine.

Gachiakuta Anime Episode 1 ends here, but Rudo's story has only just begun. In the next episode, he'll meet the man who will change his fate—Enjin—and truly begin to understand his power as a Giver.
